Kirsten Carthew (KC) is a multi-award-winning filmmaker whose work has been lauded at juried festivals, released theatrically, and sold across platforms worldwide. Recognized for character-driven stories that have garnered distinguished accolades for outstanding lead performances, KC likewise excels in bringing forth spectacular world-building and cultivating innovation in her visual storytelling.
KC is a member of the Director’s Guild of Canada and an alumna of London School of Economics and the University of Southern California. She is a former journalist, published author, and recipient of multiple visionary awards. Beyond the screen KC has been recognized for co-founding a non-profit for outdoor adventure and environmental protection. She holds passports for Canada and the United Kingdom.
