Kirsten Carthew (KC) is a multi-award-winning Canadian/UK filmmaker whose work ​has been lauded at festivals, released theatrically, and sold across platforms ​worldwide. Recognized for character-driven stories that have garnered distinguished ​accolades for outstanding lead performances, KC likewise excels in bringing forth ​spectacular world-building and innovation in her visual storytelling.

KC is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada, and an Associate Member of the ​Federation of European Screen Directors. She is an alumna of the London School of ​Economics, the University of Southern California and is a former journalist, published ​author, and recipient of multiple visionary awards. Beyond the screen KC has been ​recognized for co-founding a non-profit for outdoor adventure and environmental ​protection.
